1. The short version

HanyuBase collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no newsletters and no analytics scripts. Everything you type is processed inside your own browser.

2. What we collect

Nothing. We do not use cookies for tracking, we do not run analytics, and we do not store the characters you enter. Worksheets are generated locally in your browser — your input never reaches our servers.

3. What leaves your device

• Stroke order data: fetched from HanyuBase's own servers, with a public CDN (jsDelivr) as fallback for characters outside our curated set. These requests contain only the character itself.
• Fonts and page assets: served by Cloudflare's CDN. Cloudflare may process standard technical request data (IP address, user agent) for security and performance, under its own privacy policy.

4. Children

HanyuBase is designed for learners of all ages, including children. Because no personal information is collected, no data of any user — child or adult — is ever stored.

5. Third-party pages

The site links to third-party pages (for example jsDelivr). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

6. Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if we add optional analytics — we will update this page and the date above.
